THANKFUL. GRATEFUL. BLESSED.
Those words hit different when you’ve lived through seasons that break you open…
When you’ve prayed for something so deeply that it becomes your entire world.
When you’ve carried one baby in your arms and wondered how your heart could ever stretch wide enough to love another just as much.
When you realize that somehow—it does.
I’ve lived many versions of myself—
The woman who thought she had life figured out,
The mother who held her first baby and felt the world change forever,
The mom who looked into her newborn’s eyes and realized love multiplies, it doesn’t divide.
The woman who never expected to find the kind of joy that two little boys would bring into every corner of her life.
Some days I am exhausted.
Some days I question whether I’m doing this motherhood thing “right.”
Some days I cry quietly because love is big, responsibility is heavy, and sleep is… well… rare.
But even on the hardest days, I hear Joshy’s laugh,
I feel Daniel’s tiny hand searching for mine,
and suddenly the weight becomes purpose.
And through it all, there’s my husband—
The one who has seen every version of me and stayed.
The one who laughs with our boys on the living room floor,
who takes over when I’m tired,
who reminds me that this life we are building is worth every moment.
He is the calm to their energy,
the steady hand behind our chaos,
the partner I prayed for long before I knew what real family felt like.
Every day—EVERY SINGLE DAY—
I look at the chaos, the toys all over the floor, the sticky kisses, the loud giggles,
and I whisper to myself:
Thankful. Grateful. Blessed.
Not because it’s perfect.
Not because I have all the answers.
But because God didn’t give me sons I dreamed of—
He gave me the sons I was meant to mother.
The boys who teach me patience, softness, resilience, and love that stretches beyond words.
And He gave me a husband who walks beside me,
who doesn’t just help me raise them—
he raises me.
To every mama who thinks she has to be perfect:
You don’t.
Your babies already think you are everything.
You’re exactly who they need, even on the messy days.
Here’s to the journey.
Here’s to the sleepless nights and the loud mornings.
Here’s to tiny arms around your neck, and little voices calling “mama.”
Here’s to the teammate who holds your hand through it all.
And here’s to being unapologetically, beautifully human.
✨ Thankful.
✨ Grateful.
✨ Blessed.
